Vermont law requires that hospitals publish annual reports containing
information about quality, hospital infection rates and prevention
measures, patient safety, nursing staffing levels, financial health,
costs for services, and other hospital characteristics. The law
also requires the Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities and
Health Care Administration to publish some of that same information in a
comparative format on this website.
