• The Annual Hospital Budget Review Process establishes hospital budgets and monitors hospital costs.
   
• The Certificate of Need Application Process ensures that health care facilities are necessary, non-duplicative and consistent with Vermont policy.
   
• The Hospital Report Card provides comparative data on the quality of care, financial data,  price information, and infection rates of Vermont hospitals.
   
• The Health Resource Allocation Plan (HRAP)  provides an inventory of Vermont's health care resources and recommendations to provide accessible, affordable, high quality health care to Vermonters.

• The Uniform Provider Credentialing process determines whether the provider is eligible to provide health care services to an insured, or to a hospital patient, or whether the provider is eligible to receive reimbursement for health care services.
   
• The Vermont Health Care Satisfaction Survey is a statewide survey to gauge practitioner satisfaction levels with health insurers in Vermont.
